Hi All, Well not much news today, was up quite a bit last night so slept most of the day. Nana and Bob are going home today and Dad comes back tomorrow. Nana got me a glass shoe full of pink lemonade for my pink party, lovely cover for my bed and lots of other pink stuff! There will be nothing pink left in Newcastle. Having another platelet tranfusion now, my platelets will not stay up at all. My heart rate today went to the highest ever 184... not sure why cos I don't have a temperature.. i can feel it beating in my chest! Am so so so tired today not sure if I will make it to the Apprentice but its on again earlier tomorrow so can watch it then. Also Big Brother is starting tomorrow and America Got Talent so that should keep me going for a while anyways.... didn't have too much pain today but there are clots up my nose that have gone hard and are driving me mad. Monica gave me a torch and I can see right up there with torch and have been investigating all day long with a swab stick.. passed the day big time! My tummy is still the same size and my weight is slowly going up then down, then up again!! I am drinking loads as I get so so thirsty... the doc says I am drinking way to much and I have to try and cut down. It was Nana's Birthday today so Happy Birthday Nana!! Bob wasn't allowed in but I waved to him through the window!! Safe flight home tomorrow. Thanks to Lorna for your letter and for keeping me up to date with all the gossip from school!! My blood counts went up today but thats probably because I had two bags of blood and platelets after my nosebleed everything went a bit all over the place. Am still making lots and lots of plans for my half Birthday,its very exciting! My Gaga is coming over too who is home from Thailand. Catch up tomorrow lots of love Naoise xxxx

Im glad you got the CD'S honey, hope you like them. So are you all ready for your pink half birthday party? It sounds brilliant, i love all the pink! I will be wearing pink on Sunday too in your honour!

Your nose investigations sound fascinating, Oisin would love that! I'm sure it'll be lovely to see Gaga too, he should have some exotic tales for you.
I watched the Apprentice tonight, I haven't seen it before but the interview one is always good. I won't tell you who got fired but you should enjoy it!
Another nice day today, we are really being spoilt with this weather. Oisin met his teacher, she seems nice.
I was talking to my friend Tracy tonight, I had no idea it was my Tracy who sent you the wig for your pink party. She asks about you all the time and her mum is always doing novenas for you. Even though they haven't met you they can tell how special you are.
I'm ridiculously excited about Big Brother too, I love it!

Wow I am well impressed that you now change your own dressing on your central line. I am awful at things like that I squirm even cleaning Zoe's bellybutton.
Not much news from us, Zoe is doing great and starting to give the odd smile which is lovely. Kiel has a cold aand is off form nd has been off montessori the last few days. He is finding it hard to sleep with his blocked nose and the heat and thats why he is sitting on my lap now and it is 10 o'clock at night (urghgh) so I am hoping his cold will clear up soon!
Won't be watching big brother but excited to hear that Americas got talent is starting.

ReplyDeleteWell done on changing your own dressing on your central line. I'm a bit like Audrey...squirmish, so you impress me no end!
Your nose clots sound so irritating. Maybe sniffing some pepper would make you sneeze and clear it all out (not sure if sneezing is a good idea with your tubes, so I hope it just clears on its own quickly)
Jack had a great school tour yesterday at Baldonnell. I never knew there was so much to see & do there. It sounded like a real boy-tour with helicopters & jets & guns of every sort to see. He swears though that the girls in his class loved it too!
Today their school had a visit from the poet Seamus Heaney. All the kids in the school wrote a poem for Seamus Heaney and so Mr. Heaney left with about 200 poems to read. Just as well he likes poetry!
Wish your Nana a happy birthday for me...I hope her leg is better from her last visit to you. That's lovely that your Gaga is coming over to visit too.
You're so funny when you say Newcastle will be sold out of all things pink!! But by the sounds of it, I think you might be right! Enjoy all your half birthday preparations and I hope tomorrow the nose clots and heart beat settle down.

its a great idea to have a half year birthday sounds like lots of fun getting ready for the pink party ya hoo. michelle is doing well she had a funk dancing competition last saturday and shauna had one on sunday near melbourne city it was good fun. michelle has started golf lessons she really likes it.

ReplyDeletekatelyn here.I went on my school tour to Croke Park museum it was really fun.Joe went to Larch Hill Adventure centre and Sean went to Larch Hill.Aine and Bridgie slept over for two nights.We went to the beach in Tramore with Aine it took 2 and a half hours to get there.On Saturday i went off with mam and we got a swimming pool it took 5 hours to fill up!The water was freezing at first then you would get used to it.I hope you have a good party and hope your well for it.Love from katelyn

ReplyDeleteIt was my party yesterday! We went to the artworks cafe in portmarnock. It's really cool I'd say you'd love it!! U can paint a plate an animal thing or a mug or an ornament I did a plate with a flower on it!you can't take it straight away coz the have to glaze it so it's shiny. It's lashing rain here right now I'm still in my pyjamas to stay cosy!! I've heard a bit of thunder too!! It's a BIG change to last weeks weather!! Brrr I'm freezing!! We have our dress rehersal for the play on Monday. On Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday we are doing day performances and night ones too!! Were all excited to do the play. How are all the preps going for the big pink 1/2 a year party - hope they are keeping you busy and passing time quickly for you.
Its soo cold and lashing rain here its unbelievable. Its 12 degrees colder than last week can you believe that ?? Last week was fab, we were almost complaing about the intense heat but we knew not to complain or things would change - like they have !!
That was a lovely photo of you and your nana. Delighted to hear that your gaga is coming home - all the excitement will keep you going.
Well I better sign off here as Im in work at the moment until 9 tonight. Its not too busy because of the weather and the big Irish match that everybody is talking about.
