My Treatment - 1st February

Today I started my pre-transplant treatment. I started off by getting a transfusion to kill off all my bad cells. This made me very dizzy and sick but the nurse gave me tablets to fix it!! I got a list of food that I not allowed to eat, I can't eat any fresh vegetables, meat or fish! I can only eat things out of a tin or things that are frozen!! I can eat choccie and crisps though!!! The nurses are really nice and my room is big!! The play nurse came to see me today and I painted my own mug, she is coming again tomorrow and every day that I am here!! Tonight we watched a movie called College Road Trip, I ate toffee popcorn and crisps! Mummy and Daddy have to wear pink aprons and scrub themselves before coming into my room! Tomorrow I get more tranfusions... and every day for ten days!! Catch up with you tomorrow, Naoise xxx

It's snowing here today, Eva and Keelin wanted to go out in the garden at half seven this morning. It's so great getting your daily updates. We're thinking about you all the time. 7. Hi Naoise,
It's so great to get the daily updates! Good to see you smiling in your pictures. Snowing again here today. Sadhbh and Oisin made a snowman in the garden, he was only about 4 inches tall though.....but the picture they took was a real close up so he looks huge.
Sadhbh loved talking to you but she isn't a chatterbox on the phone. We'll sign her up to follow your blog too.
Take care pet, we are all thinking of you.
    Lots of love,
    Paula

  9. Hi Naoise. The weather is so funny here.At 6 it would be raining,at 7 it would be snowing and at 8 its sunny and windy. For the first time I was late for school because the cars had to go really slow.We were not aloud to go out to yard.Colleen came over to my house and we had to walk home.We were just across the road from my house and I slipped and banged colleen and she fell over!!!!!We just started to laugh. I hope you are feeling ok tonight and are maybe watching a movie in your room. I loved the Westlife signs on the window.
Take Care and talk to you soon.
