Hi Everyone, I was so happy to get loads of emails from the entire class!!!! I can't believe I'm missing reading buddies but you gotta look on the bright side, I missed a test today!! Of course I would have got 100% :-)!! Sounds like its pretty snowy over there!! Well today all I did was sleep reallly, woke up for about an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening. I didn't feel like eating at all or even watching a DVD. My tummy is very upset so its good that I am sleeping at lot :-) I'm really tired all the time too. Today was a rest day from chemo tomorrow it starts all over again, day -5, better get some sleep now. Love Noaise xxxx

  1. Hi Naoise, imagine having to miss a test, you poor petal. It's so lovely to have these daily updates! I'm sorry your tummy is upset honey and it's good that you got a good rest on your rest day.
No snow today but it was very icy and slippy out, Oisin fell about 10 times on the short walk to montessori, he kept trying to ice skate but he looked like he was trying to do penguin impressions.
Take care pet, lots of love, Paula

  3. Naoise, You are right about tests, they are nice to miss!! It is great to get your updates, we read them every day. Friday was a tough day for Jack, Caoimhe & Cormac as school was closed due to the icy roads and snow. You might like to tell this story to your doctors and nurses .........
Every night a friend of mine, Tommy would go down to the off licence, get a six pack of beer, bring it home, and drink it while he watched TV. One night, as he finished his last beer, the doorbell rang. He stumbled to the door and found a six-foot cockroach standing there. The bug grabbed him by the collar and threw him across the room, and left. The next night, after he finished his 3rd beer, the doorbell rang. He walked slowly to the door and found the same six-foot cockroach standing there. The big bug punched him in the stomach, then left.
The next night, after he finished his 1st beer, the doorbell rang again. The same six-foot cockroach was standing there. This time he was kicked in the shin and hit behind the ear as he doubled over in pain. Then the big bug left.
The fourth night Tommy didn't drink at all. The doorbell rang. The cockroach was standing there. The bug beat the snot out of Tommy and left him in a heap on the living room floor. The following day, Tommy went to see his doctor. He explained events of the preceding four nights. "What can I do?" he pleaded.
"Not much" the doctor replied. "There's just a nasty bug going around." ........Hope you have a good day today. Lots of love, Michael

  10. Hi Naoise

Joanne Frank Joe Katelyn Sean Soairse and Matthew here. It took us a while to get going on this compter so sorry we have not been in touch. Its great to hear your daily updates on how you are getting on. We are all thinking of you all the time. You are so brave and can teach us all something. We had lots of snow here and all were up on the hill sliding down on sacks all apart from me I stayed with Matthew. Frank even did his whale impression. But school went on and nobody got a day off so they were all very disappointed about that. Matthew was one on Friday and he is crawling around everywhere a very busy little chap.Give your dad our love and tell him he looks great in pink. Take care and will be in touch soon lots and lots of good wishes and love all the Ahernes in Kildare
