Day +21

Hi everybody, today I’m here five weeks and today was an up and down kinda day. I’m still not sleeping that well and I wake up very early, this morning I woke at 6 and I couldn’t get back to sleep. I had some melon (which I sent Dad out for yesterday) and some toast for breakfast. Then we had our musical wake up movie, this morning we watched High School Musical 3, which was great. My teacher came in and we did Nelson Mandela timeline which was interesting. Amanda, the play specialist, and me made a cool flower. I had some waffles and fish fingers for dinner followed by a game of Wii. I got my first St Patrick Card today from Aine, my little sister; it is a brilliant card with her own writing on it. I stuck it up on my wall, where it looks great. I hope I get a couple more cards!. That’s all for now, Friends is back from the start which is brilliant. Thanks to everybody for you mails, texts and comments it is lovely to receive them and it does cheer me up. P.S. Amanda enjoy your holiday. Nite nite, Naoise.

  3. Hi Naoise,

Seadna came over after school today. At school we are practising for our ceili, which is next week. I like Irish dancing!

  4. Hi Naoise,

I hate not sleeping too! Caitlin does her best to keep me awake, sometimes Oisin too.

Sadhbh gave me a fat lip tonight, at the precise moment I went to kiss her good night she decided to practise her aon, dó, trí's!

I love Friends too, my favourite episode is the one where all the girls are sitting in the apartment in their wedding dresses, I've seen it a gazillion times and it still makes me laugh.

Night, night honey. I hope you have a restful night! Lots of love, Paula

  8. Hi Naoise,

I can't believe it's been 5 weeks, haven't you just achieved so much in 5 short (although I'm sure it feels long for you sometimes) weeks.

I love the idea of a wake up movie, it beats 'Morning Ireland' which is very depressing at the moment. Although I don't think I'd get any of them out to school if we put HSM3 on after breakfast.

We're working on our St Patrick's day cards, you'll have to make sure everyone in Newcastle knows you're Irish!

Hope you are having an OK day today. It's great that you are eating so much now, pity about the waking early, that's so frustrating!

    I'll post soon,

    lots of love,
George, Darren, Eva, Keelin, Senan and Connell

  9. Hi Naoise,
Im sorry your not sleeping at the moment. I hope you have a better day today. How are you getting on with your wii tournments? Im sure your winning! Has your dad been doing any more dancing?! Thats lovely that Aine sent you a Patricks Day card. I was watching Friends yesterday, i love that its back to the start again! My favourite Friends episode is the one where Brad Pitt is in it, its so funny!!
I have started giving Nana Ruth piano lessons, she is doing well. Im just teaching her some scales and some pieces so far. She wants to learn how to play the song from the Titantic, but she is not ready yet to learn that!
    Take care honey. Miss you.
    Lots of love,
    Chrissie x x x x

  10. Hi Naoise

I only just read your special notice now, so I missed your interview on 98fm :( I hope that someone recorded it. That makes you pretty famous - you'll have to sign autographs!

I'm sorry that you haven't been sleeping very well recently. But I think that custard is absolutely fine as breakfast food. In fact, I think that I'd like to have some now, for dinner!
