Day +35

Hi, another truly horrible night and day. Last night my temperature spiked and my blood pressure went quite low as a result the nurses were into me all night and I had very little sleep. I continued to be very sick today. The doctors have decided that I need a biopsy of my gut to see what the problem is. They think it is either a bug called Novartus (not sure of spelling) or Graft Versus Host disease (GVHD) but they need to do the biopsy to be sure. If it happens tomorrow (I’m on the emergency list) then we will have the results back some time on Monday. Otherwise my biopsy will take place on Saturday. I spent all of the day in bed, no teacher, no play nurse & no physco, just the nurses and doctors. I’m pretty wrecked now so I’m going asleep. Nite nite, love Naoise.

    You poor thing Naoise, we all went down and lit candles and said prayers in the church for you, that you would feel better even Ella, she thought she was going to see you and when we were in the church she kept saying "where is Naoise" she was so loud, she has a plaster on her nose because she has a tiny little scratch on it and wanted a plaster on it, she looks mad. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for you and tonight you will get a peaceful nights sleep. Take care .

    I'm so sorry you're feeling so miserable, you poor pet! I hope they fit you in tomorrow and they can do something to help you feel better. Sadhbh is all worried about you, she says a prayer for you every night. I hope you get a better nights sleep tonight. We're all thinking of you, Paula xx

    Sorry to hear you are feeling so sick there is nothing so bad has feeling sick all the time ,but knowing the trooper you are youll will pick up.WE WILL SAY LOADS OF PRAYERS and pg you will be back on track.

    Thank you so much for updating us all even though you are feeling so rotten. We all can think of nothing else apart from how you are doing, so thanks for the update, it makes us feel a little better to have news from your end. I just wish there was something we could do to make these few days a little better for you.

    I really hope that they can sort out how bad you are feeling really quickly, you're one brave solider!

    Hi Naoise, I'm so sorry to hear that you have been feeling so ill over the past few days. But you are so good for continuing to update us all with how you are getting on.

    Girls in my 4th class, students in the after-school French classes and even some of my friends have been following your blog and think that you are so brave. I have to agree with them! :) I was teasing Fodhla last week about all the kisses I had to scroll through so that I could get to post a comment. (But I think that she really should keep typing them :) We all think that you're amazing.

    I went to physio yesterday in the Mater hospital. The therapist, Yvonne, put me on three wobble boards. I only knew what they were called because I recognised them from your photos. It looks like you were far better than I was on them. I don't think that I could even have kept my balance for long enough to take a photograph.

    I hope that the biopsy will go well, and that you'll be feeling tonnes better very soon.
