Day +30

Hi everyone, sorry this posting is late, but we weren’t up to updating the blog yesterday evening. Mam went home and dad arrived. Dad brought loads of St Patrick decorations for the party – thanks to Jimmy & Una; Lillian; Audrey & Chrissy for all the decorations, we are planning on putting them up on Tuesday morning. I have an invitation to all the nurses and doctors posted on my door outside. The party is planned for 14:00 on Tuesday, should be great fun. Yesterday was ok, I did all the usual stuff, had breakfast, dinner and a small bit of tea. Dad and I went out for our walk around 4 o’clock. Neither of the shops were open so I couldn’t get a treat, it was also really really windy. After the walk I had my shower. I let dad watch the rugby but he was shouting so much that I had to send him to the parent’s room & then I could watch Friends. Later Aine & Laurna called for a chat, it was great to talk to both of them. We also watch Red Nose day Let’s Dance and Ant and Dec – which I love. That all form Newcastle, till tomorrow, TTFN, love Naoise.

  2. Hi Naoise honey,

I can't wait to see the photos of your party and all the decorations up. When I dropped the few paddys day things down to your Dad last week, I was embarressed because I only had a few things and there was a huge bag full of decorations on the table that others had dropped in. Everyone clearly wants you to have a great party. I'd say your room will look great, you will probably be able to decorate every inch of it!!

Sorry to hear you both were'nt up to posting yesterday, hope you are both feeling brighter today. We went to the zoo today, it was a gorgeous day. We are all a bit wrecked now from all the walking so the boys are watching star wars and I nipped downstairs to see how you are getting on. I don't blame you for sending Derek to the parent room to watch the match, I remember when I was younger Dad and Derek used be so noisey watching the rugby or any sport for that matter and at the start of the match they would be sitting on the couch but by the end they would be standing in front of the TV yelling, he obviously has'nt changed!! Hope you get a good night sleep honey.

    Lots of love,
    Aunty Audy

  3. hi naoise
    hope your feeling well!
Hope you will have a good St Patricks party at 2 o'clock tomorrow. My sister went into Tallaght to have a blood test because she had a rash on Thursday. She missed choir.
A few minutes ago Cormac got sick on the floor. We've cleaned it up but it still has a bit of a smell. But it isn't as bad as earlier.
Nana and Gaga have just left. They gave us some sweets and we watched the All Ireland Talent Show final together but they will miss the voting. I watched the England vs France match with my Dad and Gaga. England scored 6 trys and France scored 2. England played great. The final score was 34-10. You should watch the Ireland vs Wales match next week because Ireland could win the 6 nattions grand slam and triple crown. I won't keep talking about all the rugby because I could bore you to death but while we were watching the rugby my mum, nana, caoimhe & cormac went to Avoca. There's still a part of a biscuit left that they bought there. We'll save it for you!
Sorry I haven't posted much over the past while. I am trying to send more. Can't wait til you are back. We've sent you a St Patricks day card and some decorations. Hope they arrive for your party.
My dad is excavatinng the driveway so we can put on a gate. It's one of those plain farmers gates and then we are going to put alot of stones down so the driveway won't just wash away. My dad hired a digger for the weekend. Donncha thinks its really cool but he runs away when the engine is turned on! He keeps calling it a tractor. We can't drive out though because my dad has left a big hole in the driveway. Maybe I'll be lucky and he won't fix it for ages and I won't have to go to school!
My Mum is typing this for me beccause I am very slow to type. I think she is getting fed up now so I am going to have to go.
    Good luck
    Jack
