Day +23

Hello Everyone, Today was hard for me. I think its because I am now off two of my anti-sickness drugs so coming off them has made me sick. On top of that am also off some the meds that relax me so my body has to get used to that too. I'm not sleeping at all well at night and I'm getting very upset during the day. I miss everyone at home so much. One of my lines was blocked and I was really worried but Lisa worked her magic and got it working again, I was sooo releived. My neutrophil count is down again today they are 0.41 so the doc said she was going to give me a boost of medicine that will make them go up again. She said I was doing really well. Mummy came this morning and Dad went home. Mummy brought Wii Sing It with two sets of songs Hanah Montana and High School Musical 3. She als brought some DVDs so that cheered me up for a bit. We sang High School Musical and some Hanah Montana, we have two microphones so we did a duet. I won :-)! We watched 27 dresses and then Paula came in. We finished of the caterpillar and we are planning a huge huge St Patricks Day party in my room. I have to start working on the invites and we have some really exciting things planned for the party... so watch this space. I had my shower, did a bit of my jigsaw and had some chips for my dinner. I have to start eating a lot more as I'm losing a bit of weight. Then watched Friends and am going to watch Ant & Dec. Did everyone here me on the radio yesterday? They played it again today too!! I would love to hear it! Am really tired so hopefully will sleep tonight! Love Naoise oh just remembered I still haven't done my homework :-(!! xxx

  1. Hi Naoise,

I hope you feel better! Wii Sing sounds like fun.

I went to the cinema to see The Hotel for Dogs today. It was really good. Caitlin liked it.

  2. Hi Naoise,
So sorry to hear you're feeling sick. Its good that the docs think you are strong enough to come off some of your meds, hopefully the sickness won't last long!

As Sadhbh said we went to the cinema today, Caitlin's first time - she seemed to like it. She wasn't as noisy as Oisin - he asks questions the whole way through and he can't whisper.

Your St. Patrick's Day party sounds fab, have loads of fun planning it!

    Take care, Paula
It's really windy here today, Sadhbh just put her rollerblades on and the wind did the rest!

  4. Hi Naoise! This is Emma, Chrissie's friend! I just wanted to say hi and that I think you are definitely the BRAVEST person I know!I have been reading your blog and u really are an amazing girl!!U have such a beautiful smile in all your photos! And I can't believe you were on the radio! That is so cool! Were u nervous? I couldn't listen to it because I live in France and we don't have 98fm here:( Only boring French stations! I saw the pictures of the xfactor crew, that must have been nice to meet them! You are so lucky to be having a St Patricks Day party! You know what I'm doing that day? An interview!! I think i will be pretty nervous! Maybe if I wear green and paint a little Irish flag on my face, I might get the job!! haha! I hope that while I am writing this, you are fast asleep! It must be annoying waking up during the night but I am sure that it will get better..Thinking of you from France Naoise! We say Bonne Nuit for Goodnight here so a very Bonne nuit to you!

  5. Hi Naoise
I'm just in from a night out (a rare thing these days!) & the house is lovely and quiet and I thought I'd just check and see how you are doing before I go to bed. I know you must be so fed up at times in your room and when Jack, Caoimhe & Cormac are a bit impatient about something I just remind them of how incredibly patient you are.

Today Michael & I went for a swim with JCC&D. Cormac went in the big pool for the first time with no armbands...He was very proud of himself! After that he got a pack of Match Attax cards (don't know if you know about them) to add to his collection. Do you know he supports Newcastle?? He says it is because he likes their black & white stripes and because you are there!

You'll have to post a photo of your giant caterpillar, he sounds very interesting. You'll have lots of fun getting ready for your St. Patricks Day party. Ward 23 is lucky to have you there to show them how to celebrate to the max!

Well I'd better get to bed Naoise. I hope when you read this that you have had a good nights sleep and that all your tests go well tomorrow. Lots of love Aisling
PS Naoise, you know the thing I said in my letter that I'd post to you, I haven't forgotten about it....just having problems getting it in the shop, but it'll be coming your way soon I hope. xxx
