Day +31

Hi everyone, today was a very quiet day, it is always quite here at the weekend, but especially on a Sunday. I had a good night sleep, but I woke up tired. I had a banana milk shake for breakfast, it was lovely but i ate it too quickly and I got sick. I went for a sleep then and woke up much better. I had my dinner early and ate a big dinner. Aine called and we had a great chat. Then I got dressed and went for our usual walk. The sun was shining and it was a lovely day, so we sat on one of the benches outside the front of the hospital and watched the world go by, I also had a bar of chocolateJ. I was very tired when we got back so I had a little rest. I had my shower around five, it is great that I’m not on my drips for the afternoon as it means I can have my shower on my own. Then it was time for Friends – still brilliant, Rachel found out, for the first time, that Ross loves her, very exciting. The semi final of dancing on ice is on this evening, so I’m looking forward to that. I suppose we watched a lot of tv today, but as I said the weekends are very quite around here. Thats all for tonight, lots of love Naoise. PS Many thanks to all my friends for your great mails I will try and reply over the next couple of days.

  2. Hi Naoise,

It's lovely to think of you outside with the sun on your face! It was a nice day here today too, we went to the Big Day Out in Merrion Square. It was very busy, Sadhbh and her Daddy queued for nearly two hours to go on the bungee trampoline.

You sound all organised for your party on Tuesday - I hope it goes really well! We haven't decided yet if we'll brave the parade.

Take care pet, lots of love, Paula

  4. Hey Naoise
Happy Monday! I didn't get to watch that Friends yesterday - unfortunately the bump wanted to watch something else, Mary agreed so I was out voted. Tell us more about this party tomorrow?

  6. Hi Naoise
It's the eve of your big party. I hear your dad brought lots of stuff over to you, plus sounds like your Mum had you pretty well kitted out in green before she left so I think you'll be sorted for lots of fun! Hope you have a great day.
It was kind of quiet here today. Michael as Jack said in yesterdays posting, is digging up at the front to put in a gate (to stop Donncha trying to escape!) and he's putting in some channels for drains. He was doing that all day and I think the fun is long gone out of it now! I was meant to be studying for an exam (yuck!) but I didn't get a chance so I am doing it now! But posting to you is more fun so I'm happily distracted!
Tomorrow we are going to Bray for the rides & amusements on the sea front. We skip the parade as it doesn't suit the little ones - maybe in a few years.
I heard your radio interview - You were so eloquent, articulate, & natural. My brother & his wife listened and all commented on just how fantastic you were so well done!
Your nana & granddad were here yesterday and we had a lovely day together. Jack & Nana were swapping brain teasers. Here's one from Nana....
You're in a queue. Half the people are infront of you and one third are behind you. How many people are in the queue? (answer below)
    And here's one from Jack....
An electric train is travelling at 200 miles per hour NORTH and the wind is blowing at 200 miles per hour SOUTH. Which direction does the smoke blow in?

    Ok here are the answers:
    Nana's: 6 (3 infront, 2 behind you, plus you = 6)
Jack's: The train is ELECTRIC, so no smoke!

Well Naoise, I'd better get back to stuff here. Hope you have a lovely day tomorrow & have a good nights sleep for it all tonight. Lots of love, Aisling
